Reawakening the Feed: The Swamp Is Alive, the Frogs Gossip

A soft restart through rain and rebellion, where keychains tell stories, creatives reconnect, and the moss quietly grows around us.

It’s Wednesday again, and this one feels different. Another soft reboot, perhaps. But this time, it finally feels right. After years of pruning, rebuilding, and letting go, the digital garden is blooming again. The Geek Finery is back in motion. Not with a bang, but with a quiet hum of clarity. The scattered pieces are settling. The moss feed is no longer just a mood. It’s a method. Emotional sustainability first, always.

Meanwhile, our legendary comrade, Pweng Bee, continues its terrarium-like evolution. Updated to WordPress 6.8.2, the skeleton’s there - sealed, strange, and itching for a sprout of chaos.

A quiet nod to Oh My Comrade, another rising social media sprout that’s been squealing through capitalism one tiny rebellion at a time. It’s still early in its modular rebranding. But you might’ve seen it orbiting your feed, oinkcore and unapologetic.

On another note, we had a quick glimpse of Natsucon: Future Core at Robinsons Place Pavia over the weekend - and an even quicker reunion with Chloe Senzai, the fantasie botanist herself. It’s been years since we joined or attended a local pop culture convention, and somehow Chloe sprouted back earlier than we did. Her booth was a burst of whimsy. Still the same, with her art drawn in that distinct, expressive style. It was good to see her thriving.

Speaking of charms, here’s a personal favorite: an acrylic keychain featuring Chloe’s work. Not just for keys. Clip it to your bag, let your door chain tell a story, or place it wherever, however you like. Though vulnerable to scratches, it’s lightweight, durable, and endlessly expressive. Only a few of us own one, and when you support a local artist, it shines all the brighter.

  • Oh My Homies - Frogcore tees, mossy mischief, and more. A cottagecore's dream (sort of) designed to delight the visual sense.

  • Pigboom - Lowbrow horror, vending machine yokai, and that pure hit-or-miss vibe that somehow works more often than not.

  • Kaiju Realm - Retro monster mashups and ramen-eating beasts that feel right at home in the moss feed multiverse.
